Provisional Registration

Provisional registration applies to people who are qualified for general registration and who are also required to complete a period of approved supervised practice in Australia before becoming eligible for general registration.

Period of provisional registration

Up to 12 months provisional registration can be granted by the Board. The National Law states that provisional registration may not be renewed more than two times. After two renewals, if you still require provisional registration to complete supervised practise, you must make a new application for provisional registration. You must not practise without registration.
